Quick Re-cap (part 2)

I survived the death choke of Darth Vader, I am such a cool mom! The young women in my ward and I helped out with the Nevada Diabetes Assoc holiday party. And while we were there helping the kids to make the crafts, the characters from Star Wars came to pay the kids a visit. I had to take a picture with them to show Caleb and Luke. They loved it! They were amazed that Darth Vader didn't "get me"! I have a cute pic of my young women too, they had a good time helping out, posing with clone troopers and screaming at the impossible acts of the very talented magician who was there. It was a fun Saturday-- nothing like a little bit of service to spice up the happiness in your life!

Luke's Pajama Day at Pre-K
He was really excited to be able to wear his pjs to school. They could also bring their pillow, a blanket and their favorite book to read. He loves his teacher, Mrs. McIntyre and has learned alot these past few months. Isn't he cute?

Bulloch Family Christmas Party
The kids had a fun time playing with all their 50+ cousins that were there! And there was a surprise guest... Santa Claus who came. Luke later on told another Santa that he wanted a GPS for Christmas. Upon asking Luke if he knew what a GPS was, his response was "no". Where do these kids hear this stuff from? But the party was a success, with lots of good food and family entertainment with the gift exchange. There were some pretty funny moments...the Bulloch's are good at the "fun" part of dysfunctional!

It's a ____! We don't know. I have decided to NOT find out! Sorry guys for making you wait all this time. But with 3 little boys, I thought it would be exciting to just wait until that last moment to find out what it is! I know, what if it's a girl? Then I won't have any stuff... it's okay! It will be alright. Babies sleep in jammies forever, I have plenty of those. And Kent can always run to Target if I need him, right? Plus, I have all of you amazing friends who will send me pink later on because you are so happy that I have finally produced a female! I am excited to wait, even though I never thought that I could do it and always thought that people who do this are weird... so we are having just a baby. I think it's another boy though and so does Kent, so don't get your hopes up!

The Polar Express
We had a lot of fun on this quick little trip to Williams, Az. We met up with our good friends since surviving dental school together-- the Weaver's and their 3 kids. It was cold down there, but no snow. The train ride was fun with hot cocoa, cookies, the story of the Polar Express, singing carols, and of course- Santa Clause. We traveled to the North Pole and got to meet the real Santa! He gave all the kids a bell to ring, and ring and ring (and in Josh's case... to throw).

Snow in Las Vegas! Real snow in Las Vegas, yes!
What a fun couple of hours that we had playing in the snow. The kids even got a snow day off from school. Not that it was completely necessary, but that's Vegas for ya. The boys went sledding with some friends and then Kent took them up to the park when he got home from work and they built a huge snowman-- I am talking like 9 feet tall. I have to get the pics from my brother. The young women had to help lift the head on, since that was our activity for the night too--just playing in the snow.

Our Gingerbread House
We do this every year with the kids. They love it! It makes a mess and they eat all the candy even before we put it on, but it's worth it. I had to use yo-gos for the little dots because Luke got into the box and opened up the candy that came with it. What to improvise, huh?

Go Irish! Only for juniors basketball though... go Cougs! He is so cute in his uniform. He loves to practice and thinks that basketball is so cool! He doesn't really have a position, it's more just for fun and who can get the ball and shoot it. It's kinda comical watching them out there. It's a good thing that the refs are very lenient- it's just foul after foul after travel, etc... not that I know anything about b-ball, but this is just fun to watch!
